our amenities
it's the little big things
tent pitches
We are a small site with limited pitch numbers. This means the site never gets crowded and everyone gets to benefit from large, dry and flat pitches with plenty of space for your tent, car and other bits!
fire pits
Nothing says camping like a camp fire! Our custom made fire pits are available for hire on a nightly basis. Just let us know when you arrive that you'd like to hire one, and we will drop it to your pitch and collect it afterwards. Fire pits are £9 per night, excluding wood bundles. Firepits must be ordered before 6pm.
firewood & marshmallows
With all the best plans in the world, we always seem to forget something. Fear not, you can get your firewood and marshmallows from us. We make sure it stays reasonably priced and generous, so you can stay toasty. Please let us know when you arrive if you would like logs, kindling or a firepit and we will deliver them to your pitch. Firepit and log orders must be placed before 6pm. Marshmallows can be purchased from the cafe. We even sell vegan ones! We accept both cash and card payments on site.
shower facilities
Enjoy a nice hot shower at the start/end of your day in our spacious cubicals, which have a dry area and plenty of hanging space. There are two showers and two toilets at the bottom left hand corner of the site, and another toilet behind the cafe.
vehicle access
Park next to your pitch and enjoy and easy unpacking experience.
There's an additional visitors car park with plenty of extra space for anyone else who may join you on your stay. `All we ask is that you don't block the view of the lake or park in the gaps between pitches.
dog walking field
Dogs are welcome on site on a lead. We love our pets and have a huge dog walking field adjacent to the lake. A safe space for our furry friends to run around off-lead. Please ensure you clean up any mess after you to keep it nice for other walkers and visitors onsite. Once you walk out past the dog walking field, dogs must be put back on a lead so that they don't spook any farm animals. We've got to keep the farmer happy and keep our furry pals safe!
paddleboard/sup hire
Want to try paddleboarding, but don't have the kit? We've got you covered! You can get all the details to hire boards here.
CAMP COMMANDMENTS
We want everyone who visits Litton Lakes to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting, and make the most of their stay. We don't like too many rules, but the ones we have are for everyone's benefit, including the wildlife that we share the space with.

faq's
do i need to call and confirm my booking after i have had confirmation from pitch up?
No, we will have a record of your booking and will await you on your scheduled day of arrival. There is no need to contact us to confirm your booking.
is there electricity on-site?
No, we only have an electricity supply for our Cafe. There are no electrical hookups or places to charge. We recommend that you bring a small solar kit or charging pack to cover your needs.
do you have wifi?
No. There is plenty for all the family to enjoy at Litton Lakes, so make the most of no wifi and enjoy a digital detox and the beautiful surroundings. 02, Giff Gaff, Tesco Mobile and Vodafone are best for 4G, others provide very little signal.
can i pitch next to my friends?
Yes! If you are looking to book multiple pitches next to each other you will need to book each pitch separately under the same name. Alternatively, when you book, make reference in the notes section to the name of your friend or friends that you'd like to be pitched next to. If you've already booked, don't panic! Our pitches are fairly spaced out and we've never not been able to pitch groups together. Just tell the camp warden when you arrive on site and they will make sure you're pitched together. All we ask is that you are respectful to other campers and follow our 'Camp Commandments', especially with regards to noise.
can i bring my own firepit?
Yes you can! However, the firepit must have long legs to ensure the grass does not burn. Alternatively, you can hire one of our super duper bespoke firepits which are particularly good for large groups. We can also provide logs and kindling.
do you accept groups?
Yes, but only as long as EVERYONE in your group is willing to stick to our 'Camp Commandments' and respect other guests staying on site. This means that voices/music/T.V. volume must be kept to a minimum at all times and completely switched off by 9pm. We are a family site so anybody that does not follow these rules will asked to leave.
can i put more than one tent on my pitch?
We allow one tent OR caravan OR campervan per pitch. This covers up to 6 people and 3 dogs. You can add more people or an awning to your booking for a small charge. Pup tents will be considered but no larger than 'one man' in size and may be used for bags only. If you have older children that wish to sleep in a seperate tent then you will need to book an additional pitch under the same name.
can i book a pitch next to my friends/family?
If you are looking to book multiple pitches next to each other you will need to book each pitch separately under the same name. Alternatively, you can leave a note on your booking stating which pitches need to be together. Our pitches are fairly spaced out and we've never not been able to pitch groups together, so don't panic if you forget to tell us. Just tell the camp warden when you arrive and
