The Purple Turtle Cafe is on hand to serve up delicious toasties, coffees, hot and cold drinks, along with a delicious selection of cakes and snacks.

From our humble caravan beginnings, to a beautiful custom built lakeside cabin with a huge deck, and view to die for.

Catering to all dietary requirements, we have a selection of vegan, vegetarian dairy free gluten free options. Take away, or sit on our beautiful deck and take in the view of the lake.

We also sell local produce and items made by local artisans which make for the perfect gift or holiday memento.

FAQ's

are you open every day?

At the moment we are open every weekend (Sat-Sun) and Bank Holidays from April through to December. We will be closed from Christmas through to the end of March. We hope to open every day when the season starts in 2022 so we'll let you know as soon as we have news! Sometimes we may need to close unexpectedly (usually due to bad weather) so please give us a call or check our Instagram to stay up to date with any changes.

do you have vegetarian and vegan options?

Yes! We offer a variety of alternative-milks along with vegetarian and vegan snack options. We also have gluten and dairy free options. for those with allergies or intollerances.

do you accept card payments?

Yes! Card or cash is fine.
