about the role

We are looking for a reliable, hard working individual to assist with all administrative duties involved in the running of the campsite, café and new village shop.

This role is the perfect opportunity for someone looking for a varied role with the opportunity to grow and develop with the business.

This is mainly an admin role but we are looking for the type of person that is prepared to muck in with the team on other tasks should they need help. This could be anything from jumping on the tills in a busy period to helping a customer put up a tent!

Duties will include but are not limited to:
Responding to customer enquiries via email, telephone and occasionally face to face.
Amending customer bookings
Taking/making payments and refunds online
Placing orders with suppliers
Obtaining quotations
Market research
Stock takes
Updating social media

Working Hours:
10-12 hours p/week
Opportunity for more hours if desired, particularly in school holidays.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills

  • Top notch customer service skills

  • Social media savvy - mainly Instagram and Facebook

  • Ability to work autonimously

  • Methodical, organised, proactive and enthusiastic

  • Eye for detail

  • Experience using Square POS, Wix and Stripe is desireable but not essential

  • Creativity and artistic flair would be a bonus

  • Extra mile attitude

  • Sense of humour

  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential as you will occasionally be required to go off site

  • You will be required to work from home to begin with and work in the office from April onwards

  • Two finger typers need not apply! 😉
