Do you have a passion for food, coffee and the outdoors? If so, Litton Lakes is the place for you. We’re looking for an energetic and vibrant individual with top notch customer service skills to supervise the effective operation of our campsite shop/café (The Purple Turtle) and new village shop. You'll be the face of Litton Lakes, greeting visitors when they arrive, preparing quality food and drink and delivering excellent service.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Opening and closing the café/shops
Making fresh coffee and other hot/cold drinks
Preparing food and basic meals
Checking-in campsite guests
General cleaning duties
Stock management
Placing orders with suppliers
Supervising a team
Working Hours:
5 days per week
Sat - 9.30am-5.15pm approx.
Sun/Mon/Thu/Fri - 9.30am-3.15pm approx.
Total: 31.5 hours

18 years of age or older
A full uk driving license and a car
Excellent time keeping skills - the applicant will be responsible for opening the café/shop in the morning, so punctuality is a must
Confidence to work alone and multitask
Experience of working in a busy customer facing environment
Experience of working in a café/restaurant/fast food or similar
A passion for delivering first class customer service, consistently, no matter the day or the weather
Ability to ‘think on your feet’ and stay calm under pressure
Ability to motivate and supervise a team
Sense of humour
You will be required to work weekends and bank holidays and have full availability for all school holidays dates.
Desirable but not essential:
Barrista skills
Experience in preparing meals - previous catering experience
Experience operating a generator
Knowledge of the local area
Level 2 Hygiene certificate
